म्हणजे वाक्याच्या शेवटी विचारलेला संक्षीप्त प्रश्न.

वाक्यातील सहाय्यकारी क्रियापद असेल तर तेच Question tag करताना करताना

Question tag :करताना दिलेले वाक्य जसेच्या तसे लिहावे त्यानंतर comma द्यावा

वापरावे. परंतू सहाय्यकारी क्रियापद नसेल तर do/does/did यापैकी योग्य ते

सहाय्यकारी क्रियापद वापरावे. होकारार्थी वाक्याचा Question tag नकारार्थी करावा व

नकाराथीं वाक्याचा Question tag होकारार्थी करावा.व शेवटी प्रश्नार्थक चिन्ह द्यावे.

-Everybody, nobody, everyone, anyone या अनिश्चित सर्वनामासांठी

काही महत्वाचे नियम: Tam च्या वाक्याचा Question tag aren’tI? असा होतो,

-I am not च्या वाक्याचा Question tag aml? असा होतो.

-Let’s च्या वाक्याचा Question tag shall we? असा होतो.

-आज्ञार्थी वाक्याचा Question tag willyou? असा होतो.

they वापरावे. व त्यानुसारच क्रियापद अनेकवचनी घ्यावे.

अनिश्चित सर्वनाम नेमके कोणत्या व्यक्तीसाठी आहे याचा उल्लेख असेल तर व्यक्तिया

लिंगानुसार एकवचनी Question tag होतो.

– Question tag करतांना this/that साठी it वापरावे, व्यक्ति असल्यास he/she

वापरावे.

वाक्याची सुरूवात there ने झाल्यास Question tag करताना there वापरावे.

– मिश्र वाक्यात Main clause चा Question tag करावा.

-used to च्या वाक्यात usedn’tor didn’t वापरावे आणि

– little, few, hardly, scarcely, rarely, seldom या नकारार्थी वाक्याचा

Question tag होकारार्थी करावा, मात्र a little, a few, या होकारार्थी शब्द

असलेल्या वाक्याचा या Question tag नकारार्थी करावा.

3. There were expensive combs,.. ..?

4.I justhad to do it,……….?

5.I am still pretty,

…?

6.Give it to me quick,.

7. There was clearly nothing to do,…………..?
